Product Review: Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Conditioner

I was (and still am) in love with the Sheamoisture Manuka Honey And Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque (a deep conditioner) and I am just as in love with their version of the conditioner.

Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Conditioner

I find Shea Moisture a great brand that is easily accessible from Target to your local CVS' and most importantly it has all natural  ingredients without the added chemicals and preservatives I try to avoid in my hair care and facial care routine.

The Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Conditioner is wonderful because it is the 'Dry Hair Recipe' and that is exactly what my hair is! It doesn't help that the chlorine from my swim practices intensifies the dryness of my hair that much more. So after I wash my hair with an EDTA shampoo (to remove the chlorine from my hair) I always follow up with this conditioner to help bring back and retain moisture.

I think it works so well that sometimes when my hair is in crochet braids, I only need to oil my scalp maybe once or twice during that 7 week period just because the conditioner combats dry hair and potentially itchy scalp.

Lastly this product donates 10% of its sales to the Community Commerce Initiative. A truly wonderful product with a wonderful cause. So wonderful, in fact, it is hard for me to get out there to try and make my own conditioner that I can equally love as much!
