I think my favorite thing to use on my hair is a nice regular or deep conditioner. Luckily, Qhemet Biologics Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee serves three conditioning purposes. The directions say you can use as a wash-out conditioner, a deep conditioner (complete with the plastic cap and added heat) or as a leave-in conditioner. I tried all three conditioning methods and it just didn't do anything for me...or should I say it didn't produce the results I was used to having after I conditioned my hair.
I was thinking of some reasons why this conditioner might have not been working for my dry 4a/4b hair the way I wanted it to and I was thinking the main reason might be the consistency of the product. The conditioners that I usually use and love come in a tub and are thick and creamy i.e. Bee Mine BEE*U*Ti*FUL Moisturizing Deep Conditioner or Jessicurl Deep Conditioning Treatment. The Qhemet Biologics Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee does not have that type of consistency, it has a lot more liquidity, almost milky, hence why it is in a pump bottle instead of a tub. As a result I feel like the product is sliding off my hair instead of penetrating it, especially when I try to do a deep condition. I also noticed when I used it as a leave-in conditioner, it didn't really seem like it did anything for my hair. The product might also be better suited for people with not really thick 4 type hair but maybe straighter curl hair types since the conditioner is very light and watery.
