I think I should of been wary of a product that has 'lotion' in its title because lotion implies something that is going on your skin, right? but then the argument can be made that lotion is moisturizing, so can't it be just as equally moisturizing on your hair as it is on your skin. Regardless of the title, Just Natural Organic Care Dry Hair Lotion did not provide any moisturizing effect whatsoever.
The product sounded so appealing AND it was organic but I just don't think it was the right blend of ingredients for my 4a/4b dry hair. It actually made my hair feel drier on occasions or have no effect at all. It was very similar to the effects I had using the Just Natural Organic Care Herbal Gel for Curly Hair. The consistency is very much like lotion and comes in a convenient pump, but as much as you pump and put on your hair there is no effect for me in the moisture department.
I have come to the conclusion that the Just Natural Organic hair care line might be more suited for straighter and finer hair types. I know when I was on vacation with one of my Caucasian friends she used regular body lotion to put some 'moisture' back into her hair because it felt dry. Worked for her but not sure if it would work so effectively with my type of hair. I also noticed the ingredients list did not contain that much glycerin and other emollients that come in some of my other favorite moisturizers i.e. Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream.
