Product Review: Jane Carter Solution Wrap & Roll

I LOVE this product. I love this product so much that I haven't even ventured out to try other setting solutions to hold and produce curls from foam roller sets. The wrap & roll is a product of Jane Carter Solution hair care line. This is the only product I own of her line because it is one of the only ones I found free of some ingredients I am picky about i.e. Phenoxyethanol. I find many 'natural' hair products contain this ingredient because it acts as a preservative but it is also a carcinogen. You know how you are reading an ingredient label thinking all is good until you reach the end? Phenoxyethanol is usually what's lurking at the end. Understandably because it is at the end of the ingredient list there is not that much of it in the product as a whole, but I try to have a zero tolerance when it comes to ingredients like these: Paraffins, PEGs, Phthalates, Sulfates, Silicas, Dimethicone, Laureth, Ceteareth, Sulfates, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Mineral Oil and Petrolatum. Back to the amazing phenoxyethanol-free Jane Carter Solution Wrap and Roll -  I find many solutions in order to hold a curl or a style has to have some sort of alcohol content but this product does not contain that either. It comes in a sort of mousse pump bottle - make sure to shake it up otherwise it may come out watery and not foamy. I mostly use it for foam rolling my two-strand twists after I put some Carol's Daughter, Mimosa Hair Honey on it, then add some of the foamy wrap and roll solution, rolling it up, then sitting under a dryer for 20 minutes or so. I have tried doing this style in about an hour and then taking out the foam rollers, then doing a twist-out while the twists are curled up and it works fairly well but the wrap and roll solution does need some time to dry properly in order to hold the curl from the foam roller. I usually try to do it within an hour and half now, 20 minutes under the dryer and about an hour getting ready and walking around waiting for it to dry a little bit. I will show some pics next week about how I foam roll my hair with this amazing product. The best part about it is that there is no crunchy or sticky aftereffects, and I find my curls hold for about three days (long as I wear a shower cap in the shower). After three days it still has a funky crinkled look to it but without the product buildup.
