Onward with my quest to find a natural and organic wash n' go product for my 4b, dry, fine type hair. Unfortunately still no success with Darcy's Botanicals Natural Coils Curling Jelly *tears*. I purchased this product from Curlmart based on the reviews of women with my similar hair type that said they had great success with this product for wash n' gos. Definitely not the case with me.

Darcy's Botanicals Natural Coils Curling Jelly made my hair not only dry but crunchy - yuck. I also used it in conjunction with the Darcy's Botanicals Vanilla Delight Leave-In Conditioner because the reviews said to and I thought it would definitely help me in the 'always-dry-hair' department. Didn't do anything. Instead of washing my hair after the third day like I usually do with a wash n' go I had to wash it the second night because it was just so dry. Not as bad as some other natural products I tried like Just Natural Skin Herbal Gel for Curly hair and AsIAm Curling Jelly, but the dryness and crunchiness was enough to make me shy away from it.

I also tried the Darcy's Botanicals Vanilla Delight Leave-In Conditioner post-swim workout (I usually use a leave-in conditioner to restore the moisture in my hair) and it didn't do anything for my hair! Like it felt the same as if I put absolutely nothing in it. Doesn't compare to my go-to leave-in,Karen Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia Leave-in, where there is a noticeable difference in my hair moisture after I put it in. With two new natural and organic products not cutting it for my wash n' go style for my hair type I have no choice but to keep my search going. I think I will try something from the Karen Body Beautiful line and see what happens.
